Dan Salgarolo

Dan Salgarolo is a Los Angeles-based screenwriter with a decade of experience in animation across all genres and age demographics. He got his start working in production on animated series like Transformers: Robots In Disguise (2015), Transformers: Cyberverse (2018), and Disney Jr.’s The Rocketeer (2019) before working his way up to freelance, staff writing, and series development positions across the animation industry. Dan’s personal passion within the kids animation space is focused in the 6-12 age demo, where he works on envisioning wondrous outside-the-box places, creating engaging characters to explore those places, and conveying themes grounded in the here and now. He has broad personal interests ranging from many different writing styles, to gardening, food, and cooking, to e-sports and Steeler football, to model kit building, travel and (regretfully) politics. Dan is currently working on several animated, live-action, and literary projects mostly (but not exclusively) in the sci-fi/fantasy genre. Dan lives in Santa Clarita with his wife, Kristin, cats Luca and Cosmo, and indoor tree, Mr. Ficus.
